From the Bible, we know that:
• God is no respecter of persons. Acts 10:34-36
• We are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26-29
• Wives are to submit to their husbands. 1 Peter 3:1-2
• Jesus tells us to follow Him. Matthew 4:18-20
• We are to desire God’s will, not our will. Matthew 6:9-10
• Jesus voluntarily laid down His own life. John 10:14-18
• Only God the Father knows when Jesus will return. Matthew 24:36
• Husbands are to love their wives because Christ loves the Church. Ephesians 5:26-29
• Husbands and wives are co-heirs in God’s kingdom. 1 Peter 3:7
• Wives are to submit to their husbands as the Church is to submit to Christ. Ephesians 5:22-24
• God doesn’t want anyone to perish. 2 Peter 3:9
• Jesus died for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:6-8
• Jesus asked God 3 times to change the way to redeem humanity. Matthew 26:38-44
• We’re to die to ourselves each day. Matthew 16:24
• We have to die to sin every day. Romans 6:6-11
• Husbands and wives aren’t supposed to deny each other sex. 1 Corinthians 7:3-5
